SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. The term basically means using keywords, articles and other strategies to get your site further up search engine results pages. It is not to be confused with pay per click, a method where people pay for a sponsored link. It is worth reading up on this as some people may pay a lot of money for an ineffective pay per click campaign that does not translate into more traffic.

Link building is another effective method of promoting your site and there are numerous ways of doing this. The simplest way is to contact businesses and exchange banners with them linking to you and you likewise. There are also listing sites available online where you can enter your link.

You can do this for free. When you use your regular search engine, enter the keywords free URL submission and you will find a number of websites that offer free listing. It is generally advised to do this at least once a week. Make sure you only do one submission per site and do not do too many at once. Some search engines penalize duplicate entries, so it is important to be careful.

Internet marketing also offers you opportunities to directly approach your target audience. Guest blogs for companies give you the chance to tell people about your company, while articles linking back to your site can further help people find out more about what you can offer.

Social networking is also a valuable tool but it is important to be careful when using it. Too much self promotion can irritate and alienate people. However it can equally become easy to be distracted so you should try and balance the need to present a human face to your business with getting the business results you need.

How to Find a Motivated Partner in 3 Steps

A good business partner can make the difference between a wildly successful business and one that dredges on making little progress. When harmony is attained and a goal is aimed for, one partner can push the next to achieve greatness.

Typically, favorable partnerships don’t happen accidentally. This is not to suggest that they never happen by sheer coincidence but usually, they are the result of one seeking the other.

An entrepreneur has his/her mindset on a great objective and knows that it will take a good collaboration to achieve it. This is actually a business networking juncture at its best. This is also what is meant many times when a person says that they need to meet the “right people.”

Finding the ideal business partner is one thing but finding one that is as motivated, (or even more motivated) than you, is another. There are particular things to look for and certain traits to identify when locating a motivated business mate. You may not always find what you consider to be the perfect match but you can come very close to 100% and simply work from there. Below, you will find 3 tips for finding a motivated business partner.

First, take stock of your most motivating attributes. These are things that you have done that you feel only a motivated, driven person would do. Once, you have your list of traits, begin your search for a person who has similar characteristics. You can look through online Social Networks locally or even get out to local networking events. Make it a point to visit events or places you feel your ideal partner would be.

The goal is to not find an exact duplicate of you but to find someone who is compatible with your work style. You’re looking to find someone who has demonstrated that they’re a go getter and see projects through to the end.

Next, once you have your list of traits and you begin your search, you need to post ads. You can post ads in newspapers, magazines, and online social networks. The best place to start however is within your own network of contacts. It’s a good idea to scan your own networking contacts for potential candidates initially. You never know, you may just find your perfect business partner among your many contacts. That’s why networking is important.

Thirdly, you want to conduct many interviews with the candidates that you find. You should have your goals and vision clearly written out and know what the desired outcome is. You should know clearly, what it’ll take to get a project done and how important of a role the partner will serve. These things are vitally important when you’re conducting your interviews and relaying your vision to your potential partner.

During your interviews, you want to record all of the traits that prove this person is motivated. You’ll also need to make a good judgment as to whether you will be able to work harmoniously with this person. Good luck!

How to Stop DOMS – Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness

Do you ever get sore after a hard gym session? Or do you ever suffer from constant muscle ache after running too much? If you have, then you might have suffered DOMS or delayed onset muscle soreness. Basically DOMS is a condition where you get aches and pains in your muscles when you have overworked or over exercise them. Here are 5 tips to stop DOMS straight away!

1. Deep tissue massage

One of the best and effective ways to stop DOMS is by having a good deep tissue massage to the affected muscle. Deep tissue massage helps to stop and relieve muscle soreness by helping to remove all the lactic acid and wastes out of the affected muscle. This will stop producing pain in your muscle straight away and will also help to relax these muscles.

2. Epsom salt bath

A good warm Epsom salt bath will help relieve DOMS. It relieves the muscle soreness by helping your muscles relax as much as possible. When your muscles are relaxed, it helps improve the blood flow and circulation to the muscle, which in turn washes the muscle soreness away.

3. Wear skins

Skins is a product that you wear in which it wraps around your muscle tight so that it stops lactic acid from building up in your muscle. Lactic acid is a contributing factor in creating DOMS, so if you reduced the amount of lactic acid in your muscles, you stop DOMS straight in its tracks.

Skins can be bought from your local sports store and online easily. It is also a good tool to prevent sports injuries also.

4. Stretching

Stretching your muscles after a hard physical activity or gym session can help stop DOMS. Stretching stops DOMS by stopping lactic acid from building up in a concentrated area in the muscle. It also helps the muscle from getting stiff and rigid which can also contribute to the muscle soreness.

5. Drink lots of water

Delayed onset of muscle soreness usually occurs when you don’t drink enough water. This is because when your body is dehydrated, your general blood circulation is reduced. This means that your body tissues like your muscles don’t get enough nutrients or energy to function properly. This causes muscle damage and pain in your muscles. To prevent this, you should keep yourself constantly hydrated with water. You should at least drink 8 glasses of water every day to keep yourself hydrated. You may need even more if you are exercising.
